Define what makes the store custom
Custom work should solve a requirement, not merely replace a preset colour. We identify the product information, collection structure and interactions that a standard configuration cannot cover. Templates are reviewed with realistic variants, image counts and content lengths so the design works beyond one demonstration product.
Build reusable merchant controls
Liquid sections and suitable content fields can expose agreed images, text and links in the theme editor. We document which elements staff can change and which depend on custom code. Existing apps, cart behaviour and any checkout constraints are reviewed before implementation.
Agree the scope and the handover
Before implementation, we agree the pages, functionality, content responsibilities and review steps. Hosting, domains and any paid services are identified separately. The work is tested against realistic publishing and customer tasks, with routine editing explained at handover. New features and ongoing support need an explicit scope rather than an assumed unlimited commitment.

Is every checkout change possible?
No. Available options depend on the store’s current plan and supported extension points. The requirement is checked before it is promised.
What information is needed for a quotation?
Share your current website, intended audience, required pages or workflows, and any existing systems. A proposal can then separate the initial work, recurring services and any limitations.
Can I maintain the agreed content myself?
The publishing interface and the content areas you need to edit are included in the planning discussion. Routine updates are demonstrated during handover.
