Turn the brief into a reviewable plan
A store project needs a page and feature list, catalogue assumptions and a clear decision process. We organise design and development around those requirements. If several people supply content or approvals, their responsibilities should be agreed before the build starts.
Keep ownership clear at launch
The merchant should understand store access, theme licences, app subscriptions and routine editing. We document the agreed implementation and test the main buying journey. Marketing results, sales volumes and support availability are not assumed simply because an agency completed the build.
Agree the scope and the handover
Before implementation, we agree the pages, functionality, content responsibilities and review steps. Hosting, domains and any paid services are identified separately. The work is tested against realistic publishing and customer tasks, with routine editing explained at handover. New features and ongoing support need an explicit scope rather than an assumed unlimited commitment.

Can you take over an existing Shopify project?
A review is needed first to understand the theme, licences, custom code and unfinished requirements before an appropriate scope can be proposed.
What information is needed for a quotation?
Share your current website, intended audience, required pages or workflows, and any existing systems. A proposal can then separate the initial work, recurring services and any limitations.
Can I maintain the agreed content myself?
The publishing interface and the content areas you need to edit are included in the planning discussion. Routine updates are demonstrated during handover.
